Allen Falcon, CEO and Founder of Horizon Info Services, helps small and mid-size businesses use cloud computing and other managed IT services to lower costs, increase productivity, and improve profitability. Allen is a recognized expert in Software-as-a-Service applications and Google Apps, in particular.
Previously, Allen co-founded and was President of Horizon Information Group. Consulting to corporate CIOs, Allen has led efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of information services for internal and external customers. He has helped clients develop effective service definitions and operating models for IS organizations; realize measurable improvements in problem and change management procedures; and implement financial modeling tools for budgeting and technology investment analysis.
Allen has served as a part-time CIO for businesses in multiple industries, planning and managing technology projects that directly support business goals and bottom lines. Beyond improving day-to-day operations, Allen has defined and led critical business application and infrastructure projects designed to improve and enable new business opportunities.
Prior to co-founding Horizon Information Group, Allen held positions in consulting and in network systems development, specializing in large systems analysis and design. Allen has published several articles on technology issues for smaller businesses and has served on advisory boards for industry conferences and trade events. Allen holds an Honors Bachelor of Science degree in Computer and Communication Sciences from the University of Michigan.
