John Avellanet is an internationally syndicated author, speaker and frequent guest on radio programs such as Tomorrow’s Business and My Technology Lawyer. Recent speech venues include the international BIO conference, the ICCA conference and FDA Expert lecture series. He has also been a guest lecturer at the College of William & Mary’s top-ranked Mason School of Business, Virginia Commonwealth University’s School of Business, the Shenandoah University School of Pharmacy and University of Kansas. Today, he serves on the advisory boards of the IT Compliance Institute and the Global Technology Transfer Organization.

In February 2007, Mr. Avellanet was awarded lifetime membership in the Who’s Who of top pharmaceutical and life science executives. In 2006, Mr. Avellanet co-founded his consulting firm, Cerulean Associates LLC, in Virginia, focused on helping FDA-regulated companies simplify regulatory compliance, prevent intellectual property theft and achieve faster times to market for new products.
Mr. Avellanet grew up in the Washington, D.C. area, earned his Bachelor’s at the College of William & Mary in Virginia, and his Master’s degree at the University of Kansas. His consulting office is located in Williamsburg, Virginia.
